CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. This engineered film uses pyramid-shaped abrasive cells that expose fresh abrasive uniformly as the material wears, flushing used particles away to reduce contamination. The system replaces messy slurries and delivers consistent results for glass scratch repair and windshield scratch removal.
The kit uses five progressive grades to go from a fine ground finish to a clear, high-polish surface—ideal for scratch removal, edge finishing, curved and flat glass repair, scuff and wiper mark removal, and restoring table tops and windshields. For high-polish (cerium) stages, flush the work surface with water between stages to remove loose abrasive.
3M® Trizact® is designed to be used wet with plain water. Each grade must be used long enough to remove defects from the previous grade to avoid small remaining imperfections.
