CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: EDD412) were designed as a cost-effective diamond plated glass drill for drilling clean holes quickly. This popular, economically priced drill features sturdy solid steel construction and a generous 3/8" (9 mm) shank that fits most drill machines. The smooth continuous rim helps produce cleaner break-outs in glass and similar materials. Although diamond plated, the drill can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend usable life.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass or tile.

Always wear appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
