CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills were designed as an economical, high-value option for drilling glass and tile. The solid steel core with diamond-plated cutting surface delivers quick, clean holes with minimal break-out. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) shank fits most drill machines, including tripod and cup-style rigs. When worn, the diamond plating may be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend tool life.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, and perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
