Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPT12C) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial glass doors and framed storefronts, this door rail secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail so the wedge action compresses the extrusions and gasket, producing very high clamping force for reliable glass retention in both corner and full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation and consistent performance. Rails come fully fabricated with end caps installed and include an adjustable door alignment slide so installers can attach door arms or pivots (not included) and adjust the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Adjustment is accessible after installation by removing the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out fine adjustment. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings and non-standard setbacks.
