Overview

CRL Flat Tapered and MAB Type spindles (SKU: CRL9050S23) fit a range of threshold and finished-floor heights and are compatible with all CRL models, Jackson® 900, and Dorma® BTS80 floor-mounted door closers. Use the CRL flat tapered spindle with center-hung and offset bottom arms designed for this spindle style, plus CRL patch fitting inserts. The MAB-style spindle is commonly used in Europe and South America, making it a versatile choice for international and retrofit projects.

To determine actual door clearance from finished floor, add 3/16" (5 mm) to the collar height. Example: 1/8" (3 mm) collar height + 3/16" (5 mm) = 5/16" (8 mm) door clearance from finished floor.
