These medium grit oxide boards, when run through the conveyor of your edging or beveling machine, help to remove accumulated deposits of glass fines, bonding material, and worn diamonds. This combination action works to expose fresh diamonds so your wheels run cooler and your machinery runs more efficiently.
CRL Dressing Boards also provide the best method of quickly forming your diamond edge profile on new polishing wheels. Simply run the appropriate thickness of Board over the diamond wheel to cut the Board edge to match the diamond profile. Then while running the Board over the new polishing wheel, slowly raise the wheel so the abrasive stone actually cuts the profile into the softer polishing material.
