These CRL Aluminum Threaded Klik® Poly-Nuts (SKU 132VB) deliver a fast, cost-effective way to create permanent machine threads in thin or hard-to-tap materials. Built for metal, fiberglass and rigid plastic, these aluminum threaded poly-nuts install by blind fastening and compression fit to provide a vibration-proof, nearly flush threaded insert for machine bolts and screws. Ideal for applications that require reliable, low-profile threaded connections in material thicknesses as thin as 0.010" (0.25 mm) up to 0.125" (3.17 mm).

They accept thread sizes from No. 6-32 up to 3/8"-16 and hold themselves in place during installation. Use the special installation tool and mandrels for consistent, repeatable results. These inserts are available in bulk or as a convenient Kit (tool, mandrels, and a full selection of all seven sizes in a compartmented carrying case). Tools, mandrels, nuts and inserts are also sold separately.
