Overview
The CRL 8B Series Square Base Shoe is 30% lighter than the traditional B5S Series, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly option for glass railing and windscreen applications.
Engineered for use with 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass, this base shoe is available in 10' and 20' stock lengths, both drilled and undrilled.
Easily cut to size with a chop saw, it meets NBC load requirements when installed according to ICC-3269.
Note that direct powder coating is not recommended; instead, apply powder-coated cladding over the base shoe for best results.
