Overview
The CRL 8B Series Square Base Shoe is 30% lighter than CRL's traditional B5S Series, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice for guard rail and windscreen applications.
Compatible with the CRL TAPER-LOC® System, this base shoe is designed for use with 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass and is available in 10' and 20' stock lengths, both drilled and undrilled.
Easily cut to length with a chop saw, this product meets NBC load requirements when installed according to ICC-3269.
Note: Direct powder coating is not recommended; instead, apply powder-coated cladding over the extrusion.
