The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills (SKU AG916) reduces contact area for improved grinding action and better coolant penetration, making these plated diamond drills ideal for drilling tempered and annealed glass with portable tripod and cup-style machines. Machined from solid steel for maximum durability, these glass drilling bits should be used with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerged in a retaining ring for optimal cooling and bit life. Although plated, these drills can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone after they are fully worn to expose remaining diamonds and extend usable life.


Safety: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when using electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions may result in operator injury.
