The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL8760GE) is an ADA-compliant, overhead concealed door closer engineered for retrofit or new installations. Offered as a body-only unit with mounting clips to replace non-adjustable closers, or as a complete package that includes the closer body, mounting clips, Type "S" side-load arm or Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or "GE" pivot set. The closer features independent dual-action valves for separate closing and latching speed control and is available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no-hold-open models. Bodies fit standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes and hardware options are available to match varying door weights and site conditions.
Adjustable Spring Power
Allows spring tension adjustment from a minimum 8-1/2 lbs. opening force up to medium spring sizes to meet site-specific ADA opening force and closing control requirements.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve controls adjust closing speed and latching speed independently for fine-tuned door operation.
Special Retaining Rings
Prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed completely out of the closer body, improving serviceability and safety.
NOTE: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum door swing.
