CRL Overhead Door Closer Kit (SKU: CRL8960S) β Medium spring-size overhead door closer kit with mounting clips, Type "S" side-load arm and your choice of "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or "GE" bottom pivot set. The closer body fits standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Ideal for aluminum storefront and glass door applications requiring an overhead concealed door closer.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves provide independent control of closing speed and latching speed for precise door control.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from backing out of the closer body, improving durability and serviceability.

ADA & Usage Notes
Closers set to meet A.D.A. opening force limits may not provide sufficient spring power to close every door depending on site conditions and door size. An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of the door swing.
