The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL8762A) is an ADA-compliant concealed door closer designed for retrofits and new installations. Offered as a body-only unit with mounting clips to replace non-adjustable closers, or as complete packages including the closer body, mounting clips, Type "S" side-load arm or Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or "GE" pivot set. The closer fits into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions and supports models with 90Β° or 105Β° hold-open or no hold-open functionality.
Adjustable Spring Power
Allows spring tension adjustment from a minimum of 8-1/2 lbs. opening force to a medium spring size to meet site conditions and A.D.A. opening force requirements for concealed door closers.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical dual-action valves independently control closing speed and latching speed for precise door control.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from backing fully out of the closer body, improving durability and serviceability.
NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent possible damage from over-extension of the maximum allowable door swing.
