CRL 9BL56D Series Square Base Shoe (SKU: 9BL56D) shares the same profile as the standard L56S Series but is 30% lighter—making it a cost-effective, environmentally friendlier aluminum base shoe for glass railing systems. Engineered to work with CRL's patented TAPER-LOC® system, the 9BL56D can be cut to length with a chop saw using a minimum 10" (254 mm) diameter blade for aluminum.

Product warning:

CRL does not recommend direct powder coating of this base shoe extrusion. Use powder-coated cladding applied over the base shoe instead. All pre-drilled CRL base shoes have a +1/8" (3 mm)/-1/16" (1.5 mm) tolerance between each hole. Before drilling installation holes in concrete or steel substrates, place the base shoe in its final position and mark hole locations on the substrate.
