There are two main advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips (SKU: CRL6872). First, when replacing a worn-out door closer you save money by reusing existing arms and pivots instead of buying a full new unit. Second, the modular approach lets you build a custom door closer package by adding only the necessary accessory parts (pivots, arms, etc.) for the job. Each door closer body ships with mounting clips, templates, and step-by-step instructions for fast installation.


Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control lets you adjust Closing Speed and Latching Speed independently for precise door control.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from backing completely out of the door closer body for increased durability and easier maintenance.

NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage to the closer and entryway from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
