There are two primary advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips (SKU: CRL6862). First, when replacing a worn door closer you avoid buying unnecessary hardware and reduce cost. Second, modular accessories let you build the exact door closer package you need—add pivots, arms, and other parts to create a custom Jackson-style overhead concealed door closer. Each door closer body ships with mounting clips, templates, and installation instructions.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control adjusts both closing speed and latching speed independently for precise, on-site tuning.

Special Retaining Rings
Prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed out of the door closer body during maintenance or transport.

Installation Note:
An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
