There are two main advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips: replace a worn closer without buying unnecessary hardware, or build a customized Jackson® style overhead concealed door closer by adding only the accessory parts (pivots, arms, etc.) you need. Each closer body ships with mounting clips, templates, and installation instructions for quick replacement or retrofit.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently adjust closing speed and latching speed for precise door control.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed fully out of the closer body, improving reliability.

Safety & ADA Note
An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent over-extension of maximum door swing and potential damage.
