There are two advantages to buying our Door Closer Bodies with Mounting Clips (SKU: CRL6772). First, if you're replacing a worn out door closer, you save cost by reusing existing hardware instead of buying a complete unit. Second, add only the accessories you need—pivots, arms, and other parts—to build a custom overhead concealed door closer package for each job. Each door closer body ships with mounting clips, templates, and step-by-step instructions for fast installation.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves allow independent adjustment of Closing Speed and Latching Speed for precise door control.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed completely out of the closer body, increasing reliability in the field.

Installation Note:
An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum door swing.
