CRL Aluminum 1/8" x 3/8" Tremco® 440 Butyl Architectural Tape

CRL Tremco® 440 Butyl Architectural Tape is a top-tier pre-formed butyl sealant available in aluminum and black colors, renowned for its superior weather resistance and 100% solids content.
This tape forms a watertight seal, preventing water infiltration and maintaining elasticity even in low temperatures, making it ideal for various glazing systems.
It is highly effective for non-compression glazing of vision lites and spandrel panels in both metal and wood frames, and is also perfect for lap sealing between panels such as steel and aluminum.
For optimal results, adhere to the recommended good glazing practices, ensuring surfaces are clean, solvent-washed, and dry, and consider using CRL Tremco® Pre-Shimmed Butyl Tape for higher performance needs.
Note that this tape is not suitable for continuous water immersion or high-temperature applications exceeding 158°F (70°C).
