CRL standard small profile windscreen base shoe (SKU: W5B20D) is designed as a base channel for windscreens and privacy partitions using 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) tempered glass. It is a compact, low-profile solution preferred for tempered glass windscreen installations; not recommended for handrail/guardrail applications. Most standard glass windscreen applications use 3/8" (10 mm) monolithic tempered glass secured in the base shoe with CRL's patented Dry Glazed TAPER-LOC® System. NOTE: If 1/2" (12 mm) glass is required, use CRL's wet glaze method.
