CRL Aluminum 48" Jackson® 10 Series Non-Handed Concealed Vertical Rod Panic Exit Device

Jackson® Exit Devices are universally recognized as the standard for aluminum storefront hardware. This crossbar designed with simplicity in mind, yet it will provide many years of smooth, reliable operation. Available in both a Rim and Concealed Vertical Rod version this device is suitable for use with 1-3/4" (44.5 mm) narrow, medium, and wide stile aluminum, wood, or hollow metal doors. The 48" (1.22 m) long contoured crossbar is field sizeable, and the device is shipped to fit up to 84" (2.13 m) tall door. Extensions for taller doors are available. The 10 Series Exit Device is the perfect solution when considering a reliable maintenance free means to satisfy life safety requirements.


This device is supplied standard with a 48" crossbar for use with doors up to 48" wide. The customer can cut the bar to exact length needed. For Locking Outside Entry: Use 8500LV02313 Locking Lever Trim or Cylinder Only: Use DL2170 OR DRA50 Type Mortise Cylinder with MS Cam - Will Require use of 3089610958313 Cylinder Mounting Pad. Panic Ships Standard for use with 7/0 (84") doors. Taller doors require use of Extension No. 301347 Top Rod Extender in 12" increments.

Added features include: Nylon bushings at arm pins; contoured cross bar; and adjustable strikes. The body and arm are available in high tensile strength aluminum with an extruded aluminum cross bar. Internal parts are made of a special plated alloy.

The standard 48" (1.22 m) width will fit most doors. For narrower doors, simply cut the bar to fit. Baked acrylic coated satin finish aluminum or standard bronze hardware finishes are available.
