CRL B5L Series Custom Low Profile Square Aluminum Mill Base Shoe — SKU: B5L10D. Low-profile aluminum base shoe engineered as the base channel for wet-glaze glass railing systems and windscreens. Can be clad in multiple architectural finishes; powder-coated cladding over the shoe is recommended rather than direct powder coating. Designed for secure substrate attachment with CRL-recommended drilling patterns and fasteners.

Glass specifications: 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass — Wet Glaze only. Not compatible with TAPER-LOC® or wedge dry-glaze systems. (When using wet glaze, also compatible with 5/8" / 16 mm glass in some assemblies — follow CRL installation guidance.)

Shipping note: 20' (6.1 m) stock lengths are difficult to package and handle; Will Call at a distribution center is suggested. If shipping is required, all packaging and handling arrangements must be agreed to by CRL and documented on your quotation.

• Do not use this low profile square base shoe with wedge dry-glaze systems.
