The CRL B5L Series Low Profile Square Base Shoe is a low-profile base channel engineered for glass railing systems and windscreens, available in several architectural finishes. Designed for the Wet Glaze method only, this base shoe requires correct attachment to the substrate—CRL supplies tested drilling patterns and fastener recommendations. A printed brochure with instructions, installation hints, cleaning, and refinishing techniques is available.
SHIPPING NOTE: Due to packaging and handling challenges with 240" (6.10 m) stock lengths, we recommend Will Call pickup at our distribution centers. If shipment is required, packaging and handling terms must be agreed upon by CRL and the customer before shipping; all arrangements will be documented on your quotation for approval.
Product Warning:
Intended for 1/2" (12 mm) or 5/8" (16 mm) glass when using the Wet Glaze system. Caution: not compatible with Wedge Dry Glaze systems. Stock length tolerance for heavy base shoes is ±3/4" (19 mm).
