The CRL B5T Tapered Base Shoe is an essential component for glass railing systems, specifically designed for 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass.
It serves as the base channel for flush installations embedded in concrete, compatible with TL5X10 TAPER-LOC® 'X' Taper S.
Engineered to meet NBC load requirements, this system offers custom cutting and mitering services, and is available in six architectural finishes.
For optimal installation, CRL provides a range of tested attachment methods along with a detailed brochure containing instructions, cleaning tips, and refinishing techniques.
Note: Direct powder coating of the base shoe is not recommended.
