The CRL B7S Series Heavy-Duty Square Base Shoe (SKU: B7S10D6) is a heavy-duty base channel engineered for glass railing systems — ideal for arenas and commercial projects requiring robust, code-compliant glass mounting. Available with six architectural cladding finishes, the B7S Series supports 3/4" (19 mm) monolithic tempered glass using either the TAPER-LOC™ Dry Glaze System or a Wet Glaze System.

Product warning:
CRL does not recommend direct powder coating of this base shoe extrusion. Use powder-coated cladding over the base shoe instead.

All pre-drilled CRL base shoes have a +1/8" (3 mm) / -1/16" (1.5 mm) tolerance between each drilled hole. Before drilling installation holes into concrete or steel substrates, place the base shoe in its final position and mark hole locations on the substrate to ensure correct alignment.
