The CRL Birmingham Series glass-to-glass patch (SKU B1R14) connects two tempered glass panels at non-roller locations in a top-hung bi-fold system. This non-handed patch mounts at top corners and at mid-height for openings taller than 104" (2.6 m). Finished in brushed stainless steel, it requires two holes in each glass panel and fits 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) tempered glass.

The CRL Birmingham Bi-Folding Top Hung Door System uses these corner patches to create a modern, minimal aesthetic for interior bi-fold glass doors. The system accommodates 2–12 panels (maximum six per side), is easy to install, and is a cost-effective solution for commercial and residential interior openings.

Three kit options are available from stock: 2 x 2 bi-fold, 3-panel bi-fold, and 4-panel bi-fold—each includes all necessary hardware except glass and substrate fasteners. Kits are expandable with additional fittings as long as system limitations are met.

Panels hinge together with alloy 304 stainless steel patches and suspend from a satin-anodized aluminum top track on heavy-duty rollers. Midpoint patches are used for safe operation on openings taller than 104" (2.6 m). Matching bottom patches with guide pins slide inside a floor-mounted continuous channel to maintain alignment as panels fold.

Key system limits: maximum panel weight 110 lbs. (50 kg), maximum width 29" (737 mm), and maximum height 118" (3 m). Fittings require two holes per door, per fitting, and notches for center lock housings. Top and bottom tracks come in 118" (3 m) lengths. Optional Slim Line Locking Handles and Receiver Handles are available.
