The CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is an advanced insulating silicone foam spacer designed for optimal energy efficiency and durability in insulating glass units.
Its innovative design allows for simultaneous production of both regular and special-shaped insulating glass, saving production time by eliminating the need for desiccant beads and corner keys.
Available in gray or black, the Super Spacer® effectively reduces perimeter edge condensation and overall window heat loss, making it an ideal choice for specialized designs like curved, sound insulating, and triple-glazed units.
Made with UV-resistant silicone, it ensures long-term durability and improved edge seal desiccant, while its multi-layer barrier film minimizes moisture vapor transmission and gas loss.
Note that the Super Spacer® requires an edge sealant, with CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer® Sealant recommended for best results.
For safety, always use proper protective gear when handling glass.
