Overview
CRL Tremco® POLYshim™ II Tape is a premium, 100% solids, preformed butyl tape designed for high-performance compression glazing systems.
Ideal for curtain walls, unitized curtain walls, and window systems, this tape ensures durability with its superior adhesion, heat resistance, and weathering capabilities.
The continuous EPDM shim prevents sealant squeeze-out and mitigates glass breakage, eliminating the need for preshimming.
Meeting AAMA 800-92, 804.3, 806.3, and 807.3 standards, POLYshim™ II Tape is perfect for applications requiring resilience and flexibility under varying temperatures.
Note: It's not suitable for joints with continuous water immersion or temperatures above 200°F (93°C).
