CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® (SKU: SS31666BL) is a premium insulating silicone foam spacer designed for insulating glass units. The flexible foam spacer greatly reduces perimeter edge condensation and lowers overall window heat loss. Its unique construction is ideal for specialized insulating glass designs, including curved and odd-shaped units, sound-insulating assemblies, and triple-glazed windows with art glass inserts.
For long-term durability the spacer uses UV-resistant silicone to prevent degradation. The flexible foam accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement while the permeable foam enables fast moisture pick-up. A high-performance multi-layer barrier film reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss. NOTE: Super Spacer® must be used with an edge sealant; we recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer® Sealant.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long. Other colors and bulk rolls are available by special order.
