The CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a cutting-edge insulating solution crafted from high-quality silicone foam, ideal for producing both regular and uniquely shaped insulating glass units.
It eliminates the need for desiccant beads and corner keys, thus saving production time.
Available in gray or black, this spacer minimizes perimeter edge condensation and significantly reduces window heat loss.
The Super Spacer® is perfect for specialized designs like curved, sound insulating, and triple-glazed units, thanks to its UV-resistant silicone material that enhances durability and prevents degradation.
Additionally, its flexible foam accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement, ensuring improved edge seal desiccant and rapid moisture absorption.
For optimal performance, it is backed by a high-performance, multi-layer barrier film that reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss.
Note that the Super Spacer® requires an edge sealant, and we recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant for best results.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long, with other colors and bulk options available upon request.
