CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a warm edge, insulating silicone foam spacer designed for high-performance insulating glass units. The flexible foam eliminates perimeter edge condensation and significantly reduces window heat loss. Super Spacer® is ideal for specialized insulating glass designs, including curved and odd-shaped units, sound-insulating IGUs, and triple-glazed assemblies with art glass inserts.
Made from UV-resistant silicone for long-term durability, the flexible spacer accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement while improving edge seal performance. The foam's permeability allows rapid moisture uptake, and a high-performance multi-layer barrier film reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss—making it a reliable warm-edge solution for commercial and architectural insulating glass fabrication.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long. Other colors and bulk rolls available by special order.
NOTE: Super Spacer® must be used with an edge sealant. We recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
