Overview
The CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is an innovative insulating silicone foam product designed for simultaneous production of regular and uniquely shaped insulating glass units.
This advanced spacer technology not only saves production time—eliminating the need for desiccant beads and corner keys—but also significantly reduces window heat loss and perimeter edge condensation.
Available in gray or black, the Super Spacer® is ideal for specialized designs, including curved, sound-insulating, and triple-glazed units with art glass.
For enhanced durability, it features UV-resistant silicone material and a high-performance, multi-layer barrier film to minimize moisture vapor transmission and gas loss.
Note that an edge sealant is required, such as the recommended CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
