CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a warm-edge silicone foam spacer designed for insulating glass units. The flexible insulating silicone foam reduces perimeter edge condensation and substantially lowers overall window heat loss. Super Spacer® is well suited for specialized insulating glass designs, including curved and odd-shaped units, sound-insulating applications, and triple-glazed units with art-glass inserts.
Manufactured from UV-resistant silicone for long-term durability, the flexible foam accommodates glass bowing and thermal movement while helping maintain edge-seal integrity. The foam’s permeability enables fast moisture pick-up, and a high-performance multi-layer barrier film reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long. Other colors and bulk rolls available by special order.
NOTE: Super Spacer® must be used with an edge sealant. We recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
