CRL Edgetech Super Spacer® is a high-performance insulating silicone foam spacer designed for insulating glass (IG) fabrication. The flexible foam spacer minimizes perimeter edge condensation and significantly reduces window heat loss. Super Spacer® is ideal for specialized IG designs — including curved and odd-shaped units, sound-insulating applications, and triple-glazed windows with art-glass inserts — because it conforms to glass bowing and thermal movement without added corner keys.
Manufactured from UV-resistant silicone for long-term durability, the permeable foam enables fast moisture pick-up while a multi-layer barrier film reduces moisture vapor transmission and inert gas loss. Note: Super Spacer® requires an edge sealant for proper use; we recommend CRL Hot Melt Butyl or CRL 877 Super Spacer Sealant.
Rolls are 66' (20.1 m) long. Other colors and bulk rolls available by special order. NOTE: Super Spacer® cannot be used without an edge sealant.
