CRL 95C Silicone is a one-part, low-modulus, neutral-cure silicone sealant formulated to cure to a durable, flexible rubber seal for building joints. Designed for sealing expansion and control joints in precast concrete panels and metal curtain walls, 95C is also recommended for non-structural glazing of glass, metal and plastic, waterproofing, and perimeter sealing of doors and windows. CRL 95C forms a watertight bond with glass, ceramics, plastics, stone, masonry, wood, steel, anodized and mill-finished aluminum, and painted surfaces when used in any combination. Application temperature range: as low as -20°F (-29°C) up to 130°F (54.4°C) on clean, dry, frost-free surfaces. Cured sealant service temperature range: -40°F (-40°C) to 350°F (177°C). These attributes make it a reliable choice as a construction sealant and silicone joint filler for harsh environments.

Tested and accepted by manufacturers for systems approved to the Florida Hurricane Impact Glazing Code and commonly specified as an installation sealant. Each manufacturer should test and independently verify performance in their systems.

Limitations - Not for structural glazing, horizontal decks, patios, driveways or terrace joints subject to abrasion or heavy traffic, submerged joints, or exterior/interior sealing below the waterline in marine applications. Do not use in totally confined or air-free spaces, or on surfaces that will be painted after sealant application (paint does not stretch with the sealant). Neutral-cure byproducts may cause stress cracking or surface crazing of polycarbonate—test before use. Do not apply to surfaces with special protective or cosmetic coatings without manufacturer consultation. Check cartridge label and the Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
