An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SDU34CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to clamp and secure tempered glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are forced together by a flat stainless-steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The extrusions seat into an angled groove, creating a wedge action that produces extremely high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail) — delivering industry-leading strength in full-length door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system also dramatically reduces installation time. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. Rails come fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the pivot or door arm (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide.

Adjustable Door Alignment System: Standard on top and bottom rails, allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Adjustment access is via the removable end cap revealing three socket head cap bolts (center bolt locks the slide; two outer bolts adjust the slide).
