Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge-action system secures the glass by applying downward pressure from two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless-steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail groove and compress the glass-retaining extrusions together to produce extremely high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering a secure, durable attachment across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides the fastest installation time of any door rail on the market. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you shift the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center securing bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
