Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU DR4TDU58CL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This proven system secures monolithic tempered glass in a rigid aluminum rail using two glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is pulled down with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions wedge together into the door rail groove, compressing the specially designed door retaining gasket to generate very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" Corner Rail).

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System is designed for fast installation on frameless and framed glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails come fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps pre-installed. After mounting the rail, attach your door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune door position 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—available on both top and bottom rails. Remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
