CRL 888 Premium Grade Caulking (SKU: 888BLBRZ) is a butyl-based, general-purpose sealant formulated for economical, maintenance-free watertight seals. It cures to an elastic, weather-resistant seal that bonds to many surfaces and resists cracking or hardening with age. Ideal as an all-weather waterproof sealant for exterior and interior construction joints where a durable, solvent-release butyl caulk is required.


Basic Uses: Designed for joints 3/8" (10 mm) or less in metal, glass, wood, plastic, and concrete. Application temperature range: 40° to 120°F (4° to 49°C). Service temperature range: -20° to 200°F (-29° to 93°C). Recommended for exterior and interior construction units, under thresholds and aluminum siding, between metal building panels and truck body joints, and similar applications. Non-asbestos formula. Two-hour tack-free time; approximately 90% cured in 21 days; paintable after 24 hours.

Product Warning & Limitations:
Not recommended for horizontal decks, patios, driveways, terraces, or other horizontal joints exposed to abrasion or heavy physical abuse. Not intended for window glazing or concealed joints that require non-skinning, non-hardening sealants.
