Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a heavy-duty glass door rail system designed for commercial and architectural glass doors. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions wedge into the door rail groove, producing extremely high holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast, reliable installation for glass doors. Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After installing the rail, attach a door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable slide allows fine door adjustment of 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails.

To access adjustments after installation, remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide enables pivot placement other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
