If the transom weight above the header exceeds 100 pounds (45.4 kg), the transom must be supported from the ceiling to prevent bowing and offloading the header. The customer may use Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Contact our Technical Sales Department for assistance.
