Overview

This aluminum extrusion was developed for three primary uses:

  1. As a U-channel matching our sidelite and door rail widths for glazing of monolithic tempered glass.
  2. As a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of doors.
  3. As an even sight line system—secure the fabricated narrow header to the opening, then attach the sidelite rail using the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle. Drilling, tapping, and fabrication can be completed at manufacturing upon request to save installation time.
