Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to securely clamp glass in the door rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are pulled together by a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts that engage an angled wedge in the rail. Combined with a specially designed door retaining gasket, this creates exceptionally high clamping force (over 900 lbs in the 9" corner rail), delivering industry-leading glass retention for full-length 35-3/4" rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides fast installation and reliable performance. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready to install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
