CRL M66 (SKU: M66BL) is a one-part, moisture-curing, gun-grade modified polyurethane construction sealant formulated for moving joints. Primerless adhesion on most common substrates makes it a reliable Kynar coated metal sealant and low-VOC polyurethane sealant for storefronts, curtain walls, concrete, masonry, metal, glass, and wood.


Basic Uses
CRL M66 Modified Polyurethane Construction Sealant is designed to outperform traditional solvent polyurethanes for sealing moving perimeter joints in commercial and residential construction. Ideal for joints between framing (door and window) and structure in storefront and curtain wall systems to ensure a watertight installation. Bonds to fluoropolymer paint coatings including KYNAR®, Duranar®, and Duranar® Sunstorm™ as well as standard metal, aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, plastics, vinyl, glass, wood, concrete, brass, and other common building substrates.

CRL M66 is compatible with insulating glass sealants when used as a toe or heel bead and is for exterior and interior use. Service temperature after full cure ranges from -75°F to 300°F (-59 to 149°C). Paintable after two hours with water-based paints.

The light grainy texture blends with textured substrates like stucco and masonry and helps hide tooling marks on smooth metal storefront joints.

Also suitable for manufacturing applications such as travel trailer/mobile home production and assembly of galvanized HVAC ductwork.
