An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The wedge-action design uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. As the bar is pulled down, angled extrusions wedge together in the rail groove to generate very high retaining force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), producing a secure, durable hold for monolithic tempered glass.

Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable slide. To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: center bolt secures the slide; outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback and enables fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
