An innovative frameless glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge action secures the glass from the bottom using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail groove and pull together, generating extreme clamping force — more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail and proportionally more in full-length rails. Ideal for commercial and architectural storefronts that require a durable, high-force glass securing system for 5/8" glass panels.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers both superior holding power and the fastest installation time of any door rail for monolithic tempered glass. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide in the rail.

The adjustable door alignment system provides +/- 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust on-site, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide and the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile adjustable slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
