An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SBL12CL) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure glass in door rails with superior holding force. The system applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges in the rail pull the extrusions together, compressing the door retaining gasket and generating tremendous clamping force — more than 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail. Expect even greater force in full-length door rails.

Installation notes:

• After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail
• To adjust the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: center bolt locks the slide; outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment
• Low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings and alternative setbacks
• All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately
