CRL Low Profile Door Rail measures only 2-5/16" (59 mm) tall by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide and integrates the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Rails come complete with end caps, installation instructions, and adjustment wrenches — ready to install for commercial and architectural glass doors.

NOTE: Actual product height: 2-5/16” (59 mm)

The Wedge-Lock® system provides a secure glass attachment plus the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed; after installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The adjustable door alignment system allows 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide, the outer bolts move the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot positioning other than the American Standard setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

Other advantages: models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) glass; single-component rigid housing that resists shifting; internal components remain installed during fitting; and durable glass securing pads designed for extreme environments.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails feature a built-in jamb alignment block. Arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.

CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails are available in several standard finishes and can be quoted in custom finishes and widths. Rail specifications, templates, and hardware packages are available from CRL Technical Sales via e-mail.
