Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SBL34C) is a high-performance, frameless glass door rail designed for commercial and architectural applications. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges in the rail draw the extrusions together, creating exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This robust, patented method provides a secure attachment for tempered monolithic glass and long-term reliability in exterior and interior storefront and entrance doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation for installers experienced with frameless glass doors — a door can be prepared for installation in less than ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. Remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide; the outer two adjust the slide position. The low-profile slide permits pivots to be positioned outside the American Standard setback for vertically out-of-square openings.
