Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a high-strength door rail system for glass doors that uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The patented wedge action applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. As the angled extrusions seat into the door rail groove they generate tremendous clamping force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail), delivering secure attachment for tempered glass panels.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides faster installation than traditional door rails—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows up to 1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts (center bolt locks the slide; outer bolts adjust ±1/8"). The low-profile adjustable slide permits pivot placement offset from the American Standard setback for out-of-square openings.
