Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System. This patented design secures glass from the bottom by pulling a flat stainless steel bar down with socket head cap bolts, forcing two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions into an angled groove in the door rail. Combined with the specially designed door retaining gasket, the system generates tremendous clamping force (over 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail) — delivering a secure, durable attachment for frameless and semi-framed glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system also provides faster installation than conventional door rails. Rails come fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable alignment slide (standard on top and bottom rails) allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—useful for vertically out-of-square openings.

To service the adjustment: remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts. The center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm).
